The Georgian Trail
A must as a visitor to the Collingwood and the Georgian Triangle. Known for the incredible hiking and biking trails, you can find yourself as close as Harbourview Park to 32 km west at Meaford. The finest scenery you will experience on bike or on foot.
The Trails at Blue Mountain
Definitely a test for the avid mountain biker. Enjoy a scenic gondola ride up the mountain and then test your skills as you fire down the marked trails of Blue Mountain.
Wasaga Beach Trails
A 30 km network of trails through sand dunes await you! Blueberry Trails offers an incredible route along the water's edge through forest areas and sand plus a 100 km spur of the Ganaraska trail that leads to Midland and beyond to Port Hope, Barrie, Orillia and the Bruce Trails.
As you head from town on Grey Road 19, find Osler Bluff Road. Turn left and follow for 1 km and continue right on Grey Road 19. Drive 2 km up the hill to 2nd line and make a left. A dirt road leads you to a road that winds up the Escarpment and at the intersection, turn right, park and enjoy!
Mountain Killer Loop
For Athletics only! Start at the Blue Mountain Inn and climb the Scenic Caves Road to Banks. Turn right to Loree Forest on 4th line which turns into Grey road 21-22, follow down into Beaver Valley to Victoria Corners on Grey Road 2. Head north on Grey Road 2 to hwy 26 to Thornbury, turn right and pick up the Georigan Trail 1/4 mile down on the right side. Tour the trail back to the Depot and then back to the Inn. A great scenic workout!
Collingwood/Pretty River Loop
Rolling hills and great views by travelling south from Collingwood on 10th line, west on 30/31 side road to Rob Roy and return via Pretty River Valley for an over 40 km loop.
Collingwood to Feversham
A challenging climb up the escarpment on County Road 2, south through Kolapore Highlands to Feversham and return via Rob Roy and Pretty River Valley for over 61 km. Be sure to be in shape for this one!
Enjoy the historic Old Mail Road by leaving Meaford along Grey Road 7 to Griersville. Head south on the historic Old Mail Road to Heathcote, turn left on Grey Road 13 to Thornbury then back to Meaford for a medium paced almost 50km loop.
Thornbury Garden Tour
An easy ride from Thornbury, along the Georgian Trail, west from town to the 10th line, south to Clendennan dam to Clarksburg. Return via Clark Street to the Georgian Trail , turn north and return to the harbour.
Kolapore Forest Loop
Rocky terrain and energetic hills make for a great ride! Park at the Grey Road 2 Access Point, bike left across the road and turn right into the forest to start the trail. This hard core ride can range from 1.5-4 hours but a map is recommended. Pick up from any Tourist or Visitor Centre.
Clearview Township continues to expand its community of linking trails from Stayner to Collingwood with a trail already in place along the railway lines.
