Zip lining, canopy walking, caving, mini golfing and so much more are all available at Scenic Caves. This local fan favorite is host to Canada’s longest twin zip line and a 420 ft. suspension bridge, both of which provide breathtaking views of the Canadian landscape. Scenic Caves also offers educational tours through the caves and a gemstone mining exhibit, both of which are perfect for children of all ages. Guests both young and old are all guaranteed to have the time of their lives when spending a day at Scenic Caves!
For many, dog sledding is a once in a lifetime experience so making sure it is memorable is important. At Rob Roy Farm in Slinghampton, you will have the opportunity to travel with your very own team of 4 Huskies over a 1/3km track! These highly trained dogs are capable of transporting riders of any skill and will give you a ride which you will remember for years to come.
Guests searching for the ultimate thrill seeking experience should consider rock climbing at any one of the mountains located near Blue Mountain Lodges; however, all of the mountains are considered very challenging and should only be attempted by skilled climbers. One of the more popular rock climbing spots is Metcalfe’s Rock, as it provides excellent top roping and breathtaking views of the Kolapore Creek Valley from the summit. Another great spot is Old Baldy, which is located south of the Bruce Peninsula. All climbing routes on Old Baldy have been equipped with bolt anchors to make the climb more enjoyable and safe; however, the bolts cannot be accessed from the top of the mountain which means top roping is not possible. As this is a lead climbing area, make sure that you have someone in your party who is able to lead your group up to the summit.
